We're a fellowship of believers... we share our prayers, our faith, God's love... and even recipes!

MMPC's Heavenly Hands belong to members and friends who work on their own and/or gather together throughout the year to create crafty gifts for the annual Heavenly Hands Craft Bazaar (this year, it's on Saturday Nov. 13, 2010)... (Pause for awhile and check out the our litte slideshow...)

MMPC Chapter of Prayers & Squares Celebrated its 10th Anniversary (2009)

Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach organization that combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt. Unlike many other groups that make quilts for charitable causes, the purpose of Prayers & Squares is not to make and distribute quilts, but to promote prayer through the use of quilts. Our motto is: "It's not about the quilt; it's all about the prayers."

   Making memories...

...and having fun!

For a number of years, we have been designing and entering an MMPC float in the Mira Mesa 4th of July parade... we have a GREAT time, and in 2010, we were even on the KUSI evening news for 15 seconds!

Wall of Crosses...

The Mira Mesa Presbyterian Church "Wall of Crosses" on the south wall of the breezeway is a symbolic celebration of Jesus Christ and the universal fellowship of those who follow Him: the Church.

We invite you to join us in making this a meaningful display of our faith. Whenever and wherever you travel, if you discover a cross that "speaks to you" of faith, we invite you to bring it back with you and donate it to our wall of crosses. Crucifixes remind us of Jesus' sacrifice for our sin, and empty crosses remind us of his victory over death.

"Jesus stands quietly at the center of the contemporary world as He Himself predicted. He so graced the ugly instrument on which He died that the cross has become the most worldly exhibited and recognized symbol on earth." - Dallas Willard
